The first batch of chickens have made their way to desperate families across the country, bringing not just food, but hope. Thanks to the incredible generosity of so many of you, and a huge donation from long-term Hope4 Moldova supporters, Mark and Julie Wheeler, we’ve almost reached our first £1,000 milestone. That means nearly 200 chickens delivered, and a real, immediate impact made. We’re honestly overwhelmed by the kindness of this community. Thank you for eggstending your compassion to some of the most vulnerable people in Europe. 🐣❤️ This is more than a donation. It’s dignity. It’s sustainability. It’s a chance for struggling families to feed their children, and maybe even earn a little income of their own. Let’s keep going. Every £5 puts a chicken in the hands of a family who needs it most. 🐔 Last week was a special one for Hope4 — we were so happy to deliver the first live chickens to vulnerable families across Moldova, each with three children. These chickens will help provide fresh eggs and a small income — a real step toward stability. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated — your support made these first deliveries possible. ❤️ But we’re not there yet — we still need help to reach our goal of buying 1,000 chickens. If you'd like to support, the donation link is in the comments below. Every contribution truly makes a difference!

Absolutely — here’s your revised text written in third person, keeping the emotional impact and mission-driven tone intact: --- **They’re hungry… to feed the hungry.** It’s a simple phrase, but it captures the heart of what drives the team at Hope4 every single day. 💯 They’ve sat with mothers who’ve gone without food so their children could eat. They’ve watched children stare at empty plates—too tired to cry, too weak to try. 😞 And they’ve felt the deep frustration of knowing food exists in the world… it’s just not reaching the ones who need it most. That’s why they’re hungry: ❤️ Hungry to fight injustice. ❤️ Hungry to stand in the gap. ❤️ Hungry to turn compassion into action. At **Hope4**, poverty isn’t just a concept—it’s a daily battle they confront head-on. And something as small as a **chicken** can make a real difference. 🐔 One chicken can mean daily eggs, income, independence—and dignity. They do this work because they believe no one should go hungry. And they know that people like *you* believe it too. So yes—they’re hungry to feed the hungry. Because until every child is fed, every family is safe, and every life has dignity... They won’t be full. 👉 You can help. Donate a chicken today. 🙏 Let’s fight hunger together.

The Power of a Chicken 🐔💛 It sounds almost laughable, doesn’t it? In a world obsessed with technology, artificial intelligence, and billion-dollar innovations, how could something as ordinary as a chicken change a life? But I’ve seen it. First-hand. Again and again. One chicken can mean: 🥚 A daily egg for a hungry child. 💰 A small income when sold at the market. 😇 A step towards self-reliance. 😍 A mother’s dignity restored. 🔥 Hope where there was none. In regions plagued by extreme poverty, where choices are painfully limited, chickens are more than livestock, they are lifelines. They don’t require much land. They don’t cost much to feed. But they give… every single day. ❤️ They give nutrition. ❤️ They give opportunity. ❤️ They give a reason to wake up with purpose. And maybe that’s the most powerful thing of all. Hope doesn’t always come in grand gestures. Sometimes it comes with feathers, a clumsy strut, and a quiet cluck 🐥 At Hope4 Moldova, we believe in big dreams, but we also believe in the small things that make those big dreams possible. Sometimes, it starts with a chicken, and sometime, it starts with you. Together #WeAreHope4 To buy a simple chicken, please head to the link below.

Yesterday, Mattern Evghenii together with Iuliia Dinisiuk visited the remote village of Gura Bicului to support a small but incredibly passionate local football team. ⚽️ They don’t have a professional coach. They don’t have proper sports equipment. They only have one single ball for the entire team. But what they do have is something far more powerful — a deep love for the game and an unshakable desire to play. 🙌💪 We brought them new sports gear, and their smiles said it all. We are deeply grateful to GOODSFORGOODuk, whose generous support makes this work possible. Together, we’re helping dreams grow — one village, one ball, one team at a time. 💙

We visited an incredibly moving family. A father, living with a disability is raising his two sons alone after their mother left them. He survives on just £40 a month, yet he never gives up. He does everything he can to give his boys a chance at a better future. What struck us most when we arrived was how clean and tidy their humble home and yard were — a reflection of the love, care, and discipline this father instills despite the hardship. But living on £40 a month is nearly impossible. If you want to support this family, by donating just £20, you can help provide food for these boys for several days and bring them a little peace and joy. 🤔 It's striking how, while billions are poured into fueling wars, we still have people struggling to afford basic needs. Imagine if even a fraction of those resources were directed toward education, healthcare, and lifting communities out of poverty. What kind of world could we create if we prioritized humanity over destruction? ____ This family, a mother of five who is on our Hope4 #FamilyActionPlan could not afford even the most basic necessities for herself and her children. We are constantly working with them to cover their initial needs, bring like a washing machine and new clothes for her family, provided by our generous friends from Uniqlo and GOODSFORGOODuk. Small acts of kindness can make a world of difference - let's continue to support and uplift each other

At Hope4, we believe that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a life-changing impact. We are working with a young mom with five children as part of our #FamilyActionPlan. Life hasn’t been easy for her — raising five kids on her own, with limited resources, and washing all their clothes by hand every single day. Her dream? A washing machine — something so simple for many of us, but a true luxury for her. Thanks to the incredible generosity of people and companies across the hashtag#LinkedIn, we were able to make that dream come true! This is why your support matters. It’s not just about providing aid — it’s about restoring dignity, saving time, and giving people the opportunity to focus on what matters most — their family. To everyone who donates to Hope4 — YOU made this possible. But today, for the first time in years, Hope visited Maria. Our dears Chris Lomas and Mattern Evghenii arrived at her home, where the bitter cold outside was matched only by the chill inside. A single, flickering lightbulb cast a dim glow over a space filled with untold sorrow and solitude. As they entered her home, the reality of Maria’s isolation was impossible to ignore. And yet, despite her frailty and loneliness, she insisted on preparing lunch for her visitors, offering whatever little she had left. This simple act of kindness reflected the powerful longing for connection that still burned in her heart. 💙 Maria is not asking for riches. She is not seeking luxury. What she longs for most is love. 💔 She waits by the door. 💔 She hopes for a smile. 💔 She prays that she hasn’t been forgotten. Today, thanks to YOU, love and hope stepped through that door. ❤️ Your generosity made this visit possible. ❤️ Your support provided her with warmth, food, and essential supplies—brought with love by Rosalind Bluestone MBE. ❤️‍🩹 Your kindness reminded Maria that she is seen. That she matters. That she is loved. 💛 This is what love looks like. ❤️ This is what hope feels like. 💯 This is what YOU make possible. 🙏 On behalf of Hope4, we thank you for standing with us, for showing Maria—and so many others—that they are not alone. Your support is changing lives. 💙 Together, #WeAreHope4.

We Stand, Regardless. Amid the political posturing between Washington and Kyiv, amid the rights and wrongs, amid the opinions and accusations, one fact remains: Hope4 carries on. Despite a decline in funding, despite unrelenting demands, and despite utter exhaustion, we carry on. Just this week, we've lost more incredible donors, not because they no longer care, but because they too are feeling the weight of the cost-of-living crisis. Each one leaves with our profound gratitude, each one has played a vital role in making what we do possible. And now, with the loss of USAID, a unilateral decision by Trump to cease all emergency aid (for now, at least), the pressure on our small band of warriors is only increasing. 💙 But here’s the truth: YOU are the difference. You cannot underestimate how important you are to this fight. You are the reason we can continue. You are the reason children are fed, families are clothed, and hope is still alive. We fight poverty, trafficking, conflict, and disaster together - together #WeAreHope4 A huge and heartfelt thank you to our precious Rosalind Bluestone MBE and her phenomenal team and partners at GOODSFORGOODuk, who, at a time when many cannot, have increased their support. And to YOU, our incredible LinkedIn family, thank you, thank you for standing with us, for believing in this mission, and for making a real-time, real-life impact on the lives of desperate people across Moldova and Ukraine. We love, appreciate, and need you all 💙 #business #csr #hope

4 Years of Hope4 Moldova Four years ago, we embarked on a mission that many thought impossible—to bring hope, dignity, and real change to those facing unimaginable poverty, conflict, and hardship in Europe's poorest country. What started as a vision has become a movement of compassion that has touched many thousands of lives. In these four years, we’ve... ❤️ Delivered essential aid to families who had nothing. ❤️ Provided warmth, food, and hope to children who had never known comfort. ❤️ Stood alongside those affected by war, poverty, and exploitation, showing them they are never alone. But this journey has never been ours alone. It’s been powered by the unwavering support of our donors, volunteers, and partners, those who believed in our mission when times were hardest. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible supporters who have been with us every step of the way: 💙 @Lea Turner – Your voice has amplified our mission and connected us with so many who care. You've taken us from near obscurity, and made sure the world hears the cries of the desperate, and for that we are grateful. 💙 Oakland International Ltd – Your generosity in covering our warehouse costs has made so much possible. Never underestimate the countless lives your extraordinary generosity has provided Dean Attwell and Sallie Attwell. 💙 Bidfood UK – Your support has brought nourishment and relief to those who need it most. Jim Gouldie you have stood with us in the trenches in Ukraine, and Andrew Selley your personal contribution has literally meant survival, at times we've struggled the most. 💙 GOODSFORGOODuk – Your continuous aid deliveries have been lifelines for countless families, suffering the most extreme poverty and despair. We owe a debt of gratitude for your tireless commitment, and for making what we do possible dear Rosalind Bluestone MBE. There were days when the challenges felt insurmountable. Days when we wondered if we could keep going. But each time, the faces of those we serve reminded us why we started. As we celebrate this milestone, we don’t just look back, we look ahead with renewed determination to meet every challenge with love and compassion, and the drive to make a difference. 💛 To every person who has walked this journey with us, thank you. To every member of the 52 Club, 💫Lorraine Emmett, Jill Furnevall, Kelly Whiting, Anneliese Vance 👨and more, to our intrepid Kilimanjaro family, who helped to raise more than £60,000. Each and every one of you has helped to achieve so much, saving lives and bringing hope in some of the most desperate situations imaginable. And to new friends, like Chestertons Global, Katherine Fasanella, MHA, BA and Uniqlo, who through their love and compassion, prove that hope has no borders, and whose worldwide reach, can touch the lives of so many. Today there is no fanfare, not party or big celebration, just a determination to be the change the world needs and to bring hope to nations. #hope4 #love

The Power of Community: A Tribute to Lea Turner & The HoLT Family 💙 Hope is a powerful thing. But hope, backed by action? It's life-changing. Today, I want to celebrate Lea Turner and the incredible HoLT community, a group of solopreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners who have become an unstoppable force for good. Because of them, families like Rodica’s, a mother of six, struggling to survive in unimaginable poverty, aren’t just seen. They’re supported 🔥 Rodica’s home is falling apart, she often has no electricity, gas, or money for food, and yet, she carries on for her children 😔 We continue to bring them food, clothing, and essentials, but more importantly, we continue to bring them hope. And that’s only possible because of incredible people like Lea and her HoLT community, and all of the incredible people across this platform. Lea has built something extraordinary, not just a space where entrepreneurs thrive, but a community where no one gets left behind ❤️ With nearly 600 members worldwide, HoLT is a safe, kind, and inclusive space where business owners support each other, and in doing so, they are changing lives far beyond their own businesses. Lea herself is not just a force on LinkedIn, a brilliant trainer, or a solo mum juggling life with a joyful little boy, needy dog, and demanding cats, she is the reason so many of you know about Hope4 She has been a champion for the voiceless, the forgotten, and those in desperate need of help. 💙 So today, this post is for Lea. This post is for every single member of HoLT. This post is for every person who chooses to use their success to uplift others. Because this is what community looks like. Can I ask you a personal question? 😬 When you get the urge, how long does it take? For me, it’s about 10 seconds, 10 seconds, and it’s all over. Now, how long does it take you, to get to your bathroom? 🚽 For most families in Moldova, the bathroom isn’t just down the hall, it’s a small wooden outhouse in the garden, precariously perched over a deep hole. No matter the weather, rain, snow, or freezing winds, every trip means trudging outside. But for one family, whose toilet shed was destroyed in a storm, the journey is a staggering 1 minute 27 seconds. Through the garden, over a fence, into their neighbour’s property, just to relieve themselves. This isn’t an isolated case. This is the reality for far too many across Moldova, Europe’s poorest country. 💡 We want to change that. For those in the worst conditions, we’re restoring dignity, rebuilding outdoor toilets with brand-new sheds, providing privacy and protection from the elements. For just £250, we can give a family a safer, more hygienic facility. So, the next time you feel the urge, sitting comfortably in your home, take a moment to consider: What if it wasn’t 10 seconds? What if it was nearly a minute and a half, outside, in the cold, in the dark? What seems simple to us means everything to them. We want to help at least x10 families, to give in particular, Mum's and daughters the privacy, dignity and security they deserve. Would you like to help us, help them? Even if you can only spend a penny, every penny helps. Please head over to the link below. Together #WeAreHope4 toilets

There’s no place too remote for hope. Recently, my incredible colleagues Ivan Ivancev and Mattern Evghenii travelled to one of Moldova’s most remote regions, bringing vital aid to families burdened by the crushing weight of poverty. In places like this, where life can feel forgotten, we’re reminded of a simple truth: hope knows no boundaries. This mission was made possible thanks to the unwavering support of our partners and supporters. To GOODSFORGOODuk and UNIQLO Europe, who donated so many of the items we delivered, your generosity is not just changing lives; it’s restoring dignity, warmth, and belief in a brighter future. What we do at Hope4 isn’t just about delivering aid, it’s about delivering the message that no one is invisible, and no one is beyond help. Together, we are proving that even in the hardest-to-reach places, compassion can find a way 🔥 To everyone who supports our work, whether through donations, partnerships, or simply sharing our message, you are the reason this hope becomes reality. You are the reason families in the most desperate situations find a lifeline. Thank you for believing in this mission and making it all possible. Together #WeAreHope4

𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐩; 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬. Last week, Ivan Ivancev and Mattern Evghenii travelled to the southernmost part of Moldova, to a remote village filled with children whose hunger for knowledge is as inspiring as it is humbling. In this small community, children are learning to speak Gagauzian, Romanian, English, German, and even Korean 😲 These children are not just trying to survive, they are determined to dream big, to connect with a world beyond their village, and to live a life no longer restricted by borders. Their curiosity, their passion for new languages and cultures, is a reminder that no matter how small your corner of the world, there are no limits to where your mind, and ambition, can take you 💯 Moldova is small, Gagauzia even smaller, but these children are showing us that when we expand our thinking when we embrace learning and connection, we can transcend the limits of geography, culture, and circumstance. Our dear friend and SA”Moldovagaz” CEO Vadim Ceban came from this region, living a life beyond limits, traveling the world, and proving you are not limited by the size of your village, but the size of your dreams. Their journey inspires us to reflect on our own 😌 What borders have we drawn in our minds? What’s holding us back from growing, learning, or dreaming beyond where we are today? Let these children remind us that the world is vast, and so is our potential. Together, we can go beyond borders and build a future where there truly are no limits, and where everyone feels loved, valued and appreciated, regardless of their background, or where they grew up. . Thank you to everyone who supports Hope4. You’re not just helping us bring aid to remote villages, you’re helping unlock the boundless potential of the next generation. Anyone can hand out humanitarian aid, but not everyone can inspire a generation to dream bigger🔥 Together #WeAreHope4 #lifewithoutborders

Chris Lomas: "Without passion, any rational person would give up - Steve Jobs And it's true, without passion I would have given up this week. This week, I felt the sheer weight of it all, the unending demands and expectations. Beneath the smiles and moments of incredible joy, there are often unseen struggles. Quiet battles fought in the dead of night, as the mind wrestles with questions and doubts. Living far from home, in a place where motives are met with suspicion, isn’t easy. Offering everything while expecting nothing, can feel isolating and exhausting. But in these moments of vulnerability, I anchor myself to my why. ❤️ Why I chose this path. ❤️ Why I left my children and family. ❤️ Why I gave up on my dreams. ❤️ Why I work on the dreams of others. ❤️ Why I work tirelessly, even when it feels like no one's grateful. ❤️ Why I give everything I can, without asking for anything in return. ❤️ Why I can never, ever give up. My why has never been about me, it’s always been about others. Hope is not something built alone; it is a shared endeavour. And so, I lean on those who believe, who support, who stand alongside me, when most sane people would have just left. Thank you to everyone, to my wife Zoe Lomas, my children Tegan and Max, my team Ivan Ivancev, Mattern Evghenii, Julia Dinisiuk, and Alina Drumea. And thank you to Lea Turner for the perfectly timed encouragement, to Dean Attwell for continuing to believe, to Rosalind Bluestone MBE for the unrelenting support, to Jim Gouldie for simply being a friend, and thank you to everyone across this platform, whose lifted my arms when I've felt weak. Hope4 is not mine, it belongs to each and every one of us, and most of all, it belongs to those who has lost all hope." Together #WeAreHope4

The Power of Generosity Sometimes, it’s the smallest gestures that carry the greatest weight. In today’s video, we expresses our heartfelt thanks to Katie Rollings and her team at Fishers Adventure Farm Park in the UK. Katie provided a collection point for parents to donate their children’s coats, coats that have now found their way to Moldova, bringing warmth to children who face bitterly cold winters in unimaginable circumstances. Every coat donated represents more than just a piece of clothing. It represents compassion, hope, and the belief that even in the hardest times, people care. For the children who wear these coats, it’s not just warmth they feel but a tangible reminder that they are not alone in the world. This reminds me of Viktor Frankl’s insight: “Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose.” Katie and her community have demonstrated this truth beautifully. By turning a simple collection point into a movement of kindness, they’ve given these families more than physical warmth, they’ve given them purpose, dignity, and hope. At Hope4❤️ we are privileged to witness this ripple effect of generosity every day. From the parents who donated coats to Katie’s selfless efforts, to the volunteers who ensure these gifts reach the most vulnerable, it’s a powerful reminder that even small acts of kindness can spark profound change. For every coat delivered, every smile sparked, and every child reminded that they matter, we see the true power of connection and common purpose. Together, we are proving that even in the darkest times, there is always hope. Thank you Katie, and everyone who continues to support our mission. Your kindness is transforming lives, one small act at a time. #WeAreHope4

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 “What is to give light must endure burning.” – Viktor Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning In today’s video, Ivan Ivancev is delivering coats donated by generous people across the UK to families and children in need. For those enduring the bitter cold, these coats are more than just a layer of warmth, they are a symbol of care, compassion, and hope in the face of adversity. At Hope4 we see this strength daily: families who continue to persevere through unimaginable hardships, drawing on their resilience and the kindness of others to keep moving forward. Frankl’s words remind us that, like a candle shining brightly in the darkness, strength often emerges from hardship. These coats, though simple in nature, represent that light, illuminating the path for those battling the cold, poverty, and uncertainty. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, in particular Katie Rollings and her team and customers at Fishers Adventure Farm Park, Kate Gathard and her team at Elysian Services Ltd and the hundreds of people who made this possible (more videos to follow). Your generosity is not just keeping people warm, it’s reminding them they are not alone, that even in the darkest times, there are people who care. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms, to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances.” – Viktor Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning In today’s video, we meet a mother and her six children, two of whom she adopted, who have been forced to flee their home due to the war in Ukraine. Displaced and uncertain about the future, this family faces unimaginable challenges. Yet, in the face of such adversity, this mother has made a powerful choice, to stay strong, to love fiercely, and to create a sense of security for her children despite their circumstances. Her story reminds us of Frankl’s profound message: while we cannot always control what happens to us, we can control how we respond. Through her courage and resilience, she has chosen hope over despair, a choice that shapes her family’s future every day. At Hope4, we stand with families like hers, offering more than just aid, we provide the tools and support to help them choose resilience, empowerment, and hope. She hasn’t heard from him in two months, and the fear that he may never return weighs heavily on her heart. Her suffering is unimaginable, yet her determination to hold her family together and protect her children is a powerful testament to the human spirit. Frankl’s words remind us that even in the face of profound loss, meaning can emerge. For this mother, that meaning lies in providing for her children and keeping hope alive despite the uncertainty. Through your generosity, we’ve been able to support her with food, clothing, and warmth, small gestures that remind her she’s not alone in her struggle. At Hope4, we believe in transforming suffering into resilience. “I spent more than 20 years in prison, and now I’m back.” On December 31st, 2024, I found myself back behind bars, 25 years after my escape. In what was perhaps the most surreal moment of my time in Moldova, I was invited to judge a talent contest at a women’s maximum-security prison. Among the contestants, we knew that at least one was serving life for murder, another for drug-related crimes. Yet each of these women carried a dream, a spark of hope amidst their pain. The experience was deeply emotional for me, my incredible wife Zoe Lomas, and my colleagues Inga Fordea and Mattern Evghenii. The eight women competed across four categories, sharing glimpses of their stories, though the actual reasons for their incarceration remained a secret. But their scars told their own story. The cuts on their arms, the emptiness in their eyes, the trauma etched on their faces, they were as much victims as those they had wronged. And there I was, faced with the irony of having to “judge” them: to decide who was the most talented, the most creative, the most inspiring. Then, they handed me the microphone. My moment to speak. To address these so-called “criminals.” I shared my own story of captivity, not behind physical bars, but within a prison just as real. A childhood marked by poverty, bullying, and isolation in an affluent society that despised my very existence. “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me” - the most ridiculous saying in history. Words left scars just as real as fists. I remember their names, I remember their faces, I remember running, I remember hiding, I remember sobbing, and I remember the bruises. Whilst the pain and the trauma helped shaped me, it certainly didn't define me. At some point, though I can’t recall when, I stepped out of my prison. I stopped being a victim. I chose to breathe free air, to refuse the label of failure. And that was my message to these precious women: one day, they too will step outside. A new opportunity will await them, though the voices of doubt will linger, whispering, “You can’t, you failed, you're lost.” But I’m living proof that they can. I’ve felt freedom, I’ve climbed the mountain (literally), and for all the pain, for all the hurt, for all the struggle, the view is simply breath-taking. When these women leave their physical confinement, they won’t find me judging their past, they will simply find me giving them hope. We will be at the gates of their despair, ready to gently redirect traffic, and point them to a life of hope beyond their failure, beyond their misery, beyond their shame. Before we judge, and before we condemn, let’s look beyond the surface. Let’s see the pain and scars beneath, and let’s be the reason someone dares to hope again. Together #WeAreHope4

This Single Mum of Five Earns Just £40 a Month 😲 In the face of the bitter winter crisis, our dear friend Sarah Farmer took swift and immediate action, providing life-saving wood to keep this desperate family warm. This courageous mother of five, four of whom live at home, lost her husband tragically to suicide 😔 Despite her full-time job, she earns just £40 a month, a heart breaking reality that leaves her struggling to provide even the basics for her children. Her home is frigid, her heart heavy, and her life burdened, yet she fights every day for her family. She has a small stash of wood, used sparingly for cooking, leaving her children to endure unimaginable cold ❄️ Then came hope 🔥 When we visited, even I was taken aback by how cold her home was. But, thanks to Sarah's incredible generosity, we delivered enough wood to heat their home this winter, a true lifeline for this family. Her children see their mum as a superhero, and rightly so. But even superheroes need a helping hand 🦹 And so, from one remarkable woman to another, Sarah brought the warmth, hope, and support this family so desperately needed.....thank you so, so much dear Sarah 🙏 And we’re not stopping there, with a whole raft of support now available to this precious woman. There are many more families like hers, struggling to survive the harsh winter, and so, if you and your business would like to help provide wood for a family in need, please visit the link below. Together, #WeAreHope4 #wintercrisis

We just want Daddy home 😔 We’re still in Ukraine, delivering aid to desperate families, still hearing heartbreaking stories of loss and separation 😒 Take these precious children, in the middle of nowhere, a wife missing her husband, children missing their dad, neither heard from him for x2 months! 💔 The crushing sense of despair knawing at any remaining hope they have, their life on pause until they hear news, defiantly refusing to believe the worst! The incalculable reality for families across Ukraine, our red jackets punctuating the gloom, the cold, and the despair! 🙏 My life is one of bizarre extremes, my perspective changed forever! We’ll soon be heading back over the border, our safety and security demanding our location remains confidential for now! Thank you everyone for your kind messages of love and support - together #WeAreHope4

On our way to Ukraine.. In what will be our last trip to Ukraine this year, Ivan Ivancev, our colleague Inga and myself are heading back across the border to bring more hope amid escalating aggression! Yes it’s risky, but it’s worth it when you see what it means to the beleaguered people of Ukraine, who continue to suffer the most unimaginable conditions! In the latest twist, Ru$$ia is once again weaponising energy supplies, with now regular blackouts , particularly during cold nights! Not only are we attending a special children’s event tonight, but we will be assessing conditions for the most vulnerable, crushed under the weight of poverty and conflict! It’s not possible to tell you which region we’re heading to today, with evidence suggesting that the Ru$$ian military are targeting us each time we go in, my last trip almost costing us our lives! We are grateful to everyone who has stood with us throughout 2024, especially those who have recently donated money for wood, which will literally make the difference between life and death! What do you grab when you’re in a room full of children with special needs? Tissues. Lots and lots of tissues 😌 Yesterday, we visited a centre for children with special needs and were greeted by no less than 70 incredible children, all singing their hearts out with unspeakable joy and passion. I’m not ashamed to say it - I cried. 😭 We were joined by former Paralympic Judo champion Oleg Cretul, who sponsors this extraordinary school. Despite being underfunded, the school achieves remarkable things for these precious children, and we're determined to join Oleg's efforts to see how we can encourage and support them too. Honestly, my life is one of perpetual perspective, a journey where I witness the very best and the very worst of the human condition. From luxury to utter despair, it’s moments like these that overwhelm me and remind me of what truly matters. These incredible, happy children teach us invaluable lessons: To find contentment in simplicity. To pause and see the world through a child’s eyes, filled with wonder and curiosity. Despite their challenges and lack of resources, they sing, and when they sing, the whole world sings with them. During our visit, we handed out clothing generously donated by our amazing friends at GOODSFORGOODuk, which included Uniqlo's thermal HEATTECH range, as well as food provided by Bidfood UK. Even the smallest gesture, like giving them our Hope4❤️ pins, was met with a level of gratitude that was deeply humbling. This emotional visit has left me with an overwhelming sense of gratitude, for these resilient children, for the dedicated staff at the school, and for every incredible person who supports us, making what we do possible. And I urge you, as you spend time with your families and celebrate the festivities, surrounded by what for most would be unimaginable luxury, just pause and breathe in, and appreciate all that you've worked hard to achieve. With love and immense gratitude, the Hope4 Moldova team ❤️ Together, #WeAreHope4 ❤️

The Humility of a Champion… On the left of this picture is Christian - a humble young man who once swept the streets of London before rising to become a kickboxing champion. His victor’s crown, proudly displayed below, symbolises more than just a title; it represents hard work, resilience, and determination. Christian’s story is remarkable. A “nobody” in the eyes of many, he worked tirelessly, both inside and outside the ring, to achieve his dream. And look at him now. By day, Christian serves as a firefighter, saving lives and protecting his community. By night, he dedicates his time and passion to helping young people in the village of Tohatin chase their dreams, just as he did. He’s not proud or arrogant. He’s humble, grateful, and committed to creating opportunities for others. Returning with more gifts made possible by our precious friend Rosalind Bluestone MBE and the amazing team at GOODSFORGOODuk, we witnessed something extraordinary, the sheer gratitude on the faces of these boys and (one) girl, who are striving to become champions themselves. It was truly humbling. Supporting young athletes is such an important part of what we do. I was honoured to stand alongside my friends and colleagues @Ivan Ivancev, Julia Dinisiuk, and Inga Fordea as we encouraged these incredible children to aim-high, and dream big, and believe that anything is possible. Christian’s journey is yet another powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we work together. Let’s keep inspiring the next generation of champions, on and off the field. Much of what we do is only possible because of extraordinary people and businesses across this community, like Goods for Good, and so if you'd like to support them, then please head over to the link below. Bidfood UK - one of the founding pillars of support that has underpinned our work since 2021. Last week we received yet another shipment of life-saving food from our friends Andrew Selley, Jim Gouldie and Louise Lyle, along with their incredible suppliers. Already this food has made it to desperate families, struggling under the burden of winter bills and the escalating cost of living, across what is still Europe's poorest country. Being kind is good for business, and like so many others, Bidcorp UK have proved over and over again, just how compassionate they are. We are grateful to Andrew, Jim and their entire team who made this delivery possible, even at a time when there is so much uncertainty across the Foodservice industry, particularly as a result of the recent budget. See, when customers are choosing which business to work with, you'd better be sure, social responsibility is right up there, which proves, it's good business to be kind. And once again, the incredible people and businesses across this platform prove over and over again, what a force for good our LinkedIn family are. Together #WeAreHope4 If you'd like to get involved, please head over to the link below, particularly as we face an uncertain winter 🙏 #winterappeal #foodservice #kindness

Yesterday Chris Lomas visited Fishers Farm Park to collect more than 1,000 winter coats for children across Moldova ❤️ Colossal thanks to Katie Rollings and her amazing team for organising this month long collection which will soon be on its way to Hope4❤️ The impact on desperately poor children simply cannot be overstated, with far too many without the necessary clothing to endure Moldova’s harsh winters where temperatures can get to as low as minus 15 degrees 🥶 There simply aren’t any words to express our deepest gratitude for all of Katie’s incredible friends and customers! On behalf of everyone on the Hope4❤️ team and every single child who’ll receive one of these coats, thank you 🙏 Together #WeAreHope4 ❤️❤️

It’s getting really, really cold!! With sub-zero temperatures already, Hope4 Moldova is already receiving calls from desperate families unable to afford the wood they need to keep warm this winter! Moldova is a country of extremes! 🥵Extremely hot summers 🥶Extremely cold winters 😞Extremely poor people Like so many times before, we are the last line of defence for many families, providing food, clothing, and warmth! Help Has Arrived 🙏 I’m thrilled to introduce @Anna Pascali as my new Executive Assistant. Anna joins us at a pivotal moment to help manage the growing demands on my time and support the exciting growth of Hope4 As many of you know, Hope4 has been expanding rapidly, which has simply increased my workload and the crushing pressure I feel myself under. With our projects touching more lives and our mission gaining unprecedented momentum, balancing all my commitments, including my work with Clear Cook and Asset & General Finance LTD has become a challenge. It’s no secret I’ve been burning the candle at both ends, often running on sheer passion but, unfortunately, at the expense of my own well-being and mental health, my body once again, telling me to stop 🤒 Anna’s arrival is not only timely, it’s essential, helping me bring Hope4 to new heights while regaining some work/life balance before I go completely bananas 🍌 Anna will take on a critical role, supporting me in managing emails, DMs, and various project tasks, ensuring that nothing important falls through the cracks and that includes being the best husband to my long-suffering wife Zoe Lomas. With her incredible language skills, keen organisational sense, and background in working with diverse teams, she will be instrumental in creating structure amidst the whirlwind of activity and the chaos that is my life. Like her colleagues in Moldova, Anna brings not just professionalism but a shared dedication to the work we do, and she’ll be helping me stay focused and energised for the journey ahead. I’m grateful to have Anna on board to relieve the pressure and to help Hope4 continue impacting lives across Moldova, Ukraine and beyond. Please join me in giving her a warm welcome to our Facebook family! #LinkedIn #ExecutiveAssistant

Hope4 October Monthly Report This October has been a whirlwind of compassion, collaboration, and direct impact. In this latest video, we’re excited to share some of the moments that made this month so special! From hosting our incredible friends from the UK Rosalind Bluestone, Maria Samoto le Dous, Iryna Malynovska, Marijn Pronker, Delphine Tu, Lea Turner, Stacy Bradley 🚮, our friends from @Fleckney New Life Church where together we were visiting families, orphanages, and refugees together, every step we took was about spreading hope and making a difference in people’s lives. But there’s even more behind the scenes that didn’t make it into the video. As on monthly basis we are supporting other NGOs and charity organizations, helping them in their own efforts to reach those in need. I would like to express huge Thank you to Oakland International Ltd, Bidfood UK, GOODSFORGOODuk, Uniqlo and everyone who has stood by us, volunteered, and partnered with us in this journey. Together, we’re building a community of hope and kindness. Together #WeAreHope4

Together with our dear friends from the UK, we had the opportunity to visit a children's tuberculosis center, where 54 young kids who are currently battling this serious illness. While tuberculosis is almost unheard of in the UK today, it still poses a significant challenge for children across Moldova. We were humbled to bring gifts for these children, hoping to bring a little joy and comfort during such a difficult time. Most of this kids are from vulnerable communities, and we are committed to standing with them, offering support in any way we can.

Teaching a Nation to Fish... There’s a world of opportunities out there, and language is the key. Fortunately for this mono-linguist, English is the international language of business - a fact I’m continually reminded of, surrounded by people who speak 4 or 5 languages with ease. It is with great humility that I encourage the children of Moldova to invest in languages, particularly English. Strangely, despite its clear importance, English is not part of the national curriculum and is taught in only a handful of schools. This reflects a fractured mindset - a belief that prioritises languages like French, German, or Italian, considered "useful" for those who may migrate to neighbouring countries for manual labour. A mentality that, in essence, prepares children for a life of survival, not success. Last night, I sat in a meeting where a Moldovan remarked that Moldova has “nothing to offer Europe,” as if to suggest that integration with the European Union is pointless. And therein lies the issue: if you are constantly told you're worthless, you'll start believing it. But that is not the belief at Hope4❤️. We’re not preparing people to survive - we’re preparing them to thrive. And settling for second best simply isn't an option. At Hope4, we have already started investing in IT and English classes in schools, and we have plans to do even more. Our goal is to open up a world of opportunities for children across Moldova, showing them that they are free to aim-high and dream-big, and see beyond the limitations imposed on them. I was told my entire life that I couldn’t - until I proved that I could. Born into poverty, my precious Dad's advice, when I wanted to leave the factory job I'd been doing straight out of school for 8.5 years was, stay where you are - we're factory workers, and that's it. But I refused to wear the label he placed on me, and believed in something better, and that makes me more than qualified to tell the children of Moldova, to believe in better. I don't blame my Dad, it's the same mentality that's keeping children across Moldova from following their dreams, but that broken mind-set simply has to stop, and it stops right now. Together, #WeAreHope4 education across Moldova. #English #Education #LanguageMatters #DreamBig

In every village we go, in every family lives the future - it's kids. Yesterday we met children full of dreams and aspirations. We talked to them about how important it is to learn, develop, and discover new knowledge. Education is the key that opens the door to all possibilities. And in gratitude for listening, I left them gifts - new shoes that was kindly donated by GOODSFORGOODuk. We are sure - these children are ready to move forward, to build their lives with confidence and faith in themselves. Because we deliver a message of hope. All this is possible thanks to you! “Mr Chris really loves me...” We’ve shared the story of this precious 9-year-old girl, Maria, and her 10-year-old sister, Alexandrina, a few times before. Their world changed forever last year when their mother took her own life. Now, they live under the shadow of their father’s alcoholism and abuse 😞 When we first met them, they couldn't even smiles, their dreams shattered the day they found their mother’s lifeless body - an act that imploded their fragile little world. Raised by their beleaguered, and dare I say, incredibly strict grandmother, these sisters live in desperate poverty, their delicate lives as broken as the house they call home. If you’ve ever visited them with us, as some of you have, you know the joy that fills the air when the Hope4❤️ team arrives - their excitement is uncontrollable, their hugs pure evidence of their love. This past Tuesday was Maria’s birthday. Her one outrageous, unrealistic wish? To own a brand-new bike 🚲 While I couldn’t be there to celebrate with this beautiful girl on her special day, my amazing wife Zoe Lomas went in my place to represent this world-changing community. And, thanks to your kind and incredible support, we made her dream come true 😍 “Where’s Mr Chris?” Maria asked Zoe, her excitement overflowing as friends gathered to celebrate. “He’s working,” Zoe explained, as I planned to visit them this weekend - a precious opportunity lost to the sheer and sometimes unfathomable pressure on my shoulders. “Mr Chris loves me,” Maria proudly told everyone. When Zoe told me on her return, my heart broke. I wish I’d dropped everything to be there for her - a mistake I’m determined never to make again. And she’s right. I do love her. Her, her sister, and every other broken, desperate child across Moldova’s poverty-stricken land. Behind the (not-so) tough façade, behind the willingness to run toward danger, to fight those who exploit the weak, is simply a man driven by love. And behind the scenes - and even now - I cry like a helpless baby. Hope4 has grown beyond my wildest dreams, with plans for expansion firmly in sight. And while I can't be everywhere all at once, my love for the hurting and desperate will never ever waver. Even though I may not personally be there to hug every single person, together, we can be 🔥 So today, I ask you: please join us in hugging a world filled with so much hate, and prove beyond any shadow of doubt, love wins every single time. #chooselove #love #lovewins

Introducing The Moldova Project Fifteen years ago, the incredible Victoria Morozov founded The Moldova Project to combat the devastating effects of poverty across Moldova. Today, Victoria and her dedicated team work tirelessly with over 120 families each year, helping them move from a place of utter despair to one of hope and sustainability. Comprising social workers, doctors, psychologists, and an army of volunteers, The Moldova Project has repeatedly demonstrated the transformative power of long-term support and commitment. In a recent conversation with Victoria, it became clear how deeply aligned our missions are. Moldova has endured 33 years of well-intentioned charity, with aid often being distributed in the hope it might make a difference. Yet, as we both know, it takes more than just aid - it requires a collaborative and focused effort to create lasting change. That’s why we are incredibly proud to stand alongside Victoria and her team, supporting their fight against the devastating effects of poverty on families across Moldova. Here, my dear friend and colleague Ivan Ivancev and the team have joined The Moldova Project in delivering vital support to villages across the country. No charity can achieve its objectives alone. The idea that we are in competition is a misguided belief. True transformation comes from cooperation and collaboration. We are deeply honoured to stand with The Moldova Project to help transform lives across what is still Europe's poorest country. Special thanks as always to our dear friend Rosalind Bluestone and amazing team at GOODSFORGOODuk, as well as the incredible Dean Attwell and his team at Oakland International Ltd Together #WeAreHope4 nations #hope #love #impact

Once again we've been joined by our dear friends from Global First Responder, a team of doctors and nurses from the USA, to bring medical support to those affected by poverty and conflict. We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Gill, Barbara, and her daughter Edith for extending hope to desperate families across Moldova and Gagauzia. Founded by our friend and US Marine Combat Doctor Adam Beckett, GFR have proved an incredible ally to Hope4❤️, first meeting each other after Ru$$ia's invasion into Ukraine. And now, 2 years on, the relationship continues to grow from strength to strength as we continue to impact lives together. My dear friend being honoured!! Recently my dear friend Ivan Ivancev was honoured by the Minister of Ministerul Afacerilor Interne al Republicii Moldova Adrian Efros on the occasion of Ivan’s promotion to Country Director!! Ivan has been with us almost from the beginning, proving my closest friend and ally, standing shoulder to shoulder with me through some incredibly demanding and challenging times!! Life is crazy busy, and the demands on my time and energy are almost unbearable, and it’s easy to overlook those who matter to you most, like my wife Zoe Lomas, and of course, this incredible individual!! And so, once again, I want to thank this amazing man for staying the course, for running with endurance, and for being the biggest friend to me and Hope4 I could ever hope for!!
