Our Focus
Fight Poverty
More than 700 million people — or 10 percent of the world’s population — live in extreme poverty, surviving on less than $1.90 a day.
Starting in Moldova, Europe’s poorest country, where it’s estimated that 80% of the population is struggling, we tackle the complex issues of poverty right across the world, teaching, and equipping people to be self-sufficient.
Whilst hand-outs help, they do little to create lasting change, with hand-ups providing greater hope and opportunities. With your support, we feed people, provide for their most basic needs, and identify ways to equip them to be self-sufficient.
Only then can we break the devastating cycle of poverty, reducing many of its debilitating consequences.
Human Trafficking
Trafficking is a supply-and-demand industry, driven by poverty and a desperate need, that traffickers are all too willing to fulfill. We will sever those sinister ties by providing a meaningful alternative to succumbing to the evil tactics of cowards hell-bent on destroying innocent lives.
Estimated to be worth more than $150 billion per year, human trafficking is the fastest-growing, illegal trade in the world and will soon overtake the drug trade. Combatting the trafficking of human beings is not a solo mission and requires a collaborative approach. By identifying the signs, we can spot those who are at risk of being exploited.
This highly complex issue demands an equally intelligent response for protecting and safeguarding potential victims. There can be no hiding place for those perpetrating this most hideous crime, with each one of us playing a role in ending trafficking once and for all.
Conflict
According to the United Nations, about two billion people, or a quarter of the world’s population live in conflict-affected areas.
An estimated 84 million people were “forcibly displaced because of conflict, violence, and human rights violations,” and an estimated 274 million people will need humanitarian assistance due to conflict.
Conflict causes many issues for those displaced, whether internally, or as refugees. The key areas of concern are poverty and human trafficking. This proves, how closely connected conflict is with hunger and crime, which itself helps to feed traffickers insatiable appetite for victims.
Supplying for the needs of those affected is a key strategy for Hope4. Combining our collective power to impact vulnerable lives provides real hope amidst the most terrible circumstances.
Natural Disaster
2023 saw more than its fair share of natural disasters, from earthquakes in Turkey, Syria, and more recently, Morocco to the devastating fires in Maui.
In the wake of such circumstances, most people respond with extravagant support. However, so many funds can go wasted due to mismanagement, profiteering, and corruption which is why being able to steward this generosity is critical.
This is why we created Hope4 | Hub, as a way of eliminating exploitative practices and ensuring that the world’s support gets channeled in the most effective ways possible.
By harnessing and stewarding donations correctly as well as utilizing the powerful resources of the world business community, we can implement highly effective and immediate strategies to address urgent needs in highly volatile scenarios, without dilution or wastage.
